Pulkit Kejriwal, son of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Sunita Kejriwal secured 96.4 per cent in CBSE Class 12 board results which were announced on May 2. Pulkit studied at a private school in Noida.
As a proud mother, Sunita Kejriwal took to the twitter to announced the scores and share her joy. Sunita in her tweet said, With God’s grace and well-wishers’ blessings, son has secured 96.4 percentile in CBSE Class XII. In high gratitude.”

Reacting upon the news, many political leaders and ministers including Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, congratulated Sunita Kejriwal for her son’s achievement.
Pulkit had scored 10 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) in his 2017 Class 10th Board Exams, with 10 CGPA in subjects like English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science and Hindi.
In 2014, the chief minister’s daughter, Harshita had also scored 96 per cent in her Class XII CBSE exam. Later, she had cleared IIT Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).

As per the records so far, Girls outperformed boys this year too with two girl students becoming joint toppers. Hansika Shukla from Ghaziabad and Karishma Arora from from Muzaffarnagar topped the exam this year. Both of them scored 499 out of 500 marks.
Three students share the second rank with a score of 498 out of 500: Gaurangi Chawala from Rishikesh, Aishwarya from Raebareli and Bhavya from Haryana’s Jind.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Education Minister Prakash Javadeka congratulated the students for their cheering results and wished them luck for the nearing future.
