Delhi govt rejig: Kapil Mishra removed from Cabinet

Delhi Water and Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra has been removed from the cabinet on Saturday. Kapil Mishra has been replaced by Kailash Gahlot.

The Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has said that water management was not up to the mark and CM decided to bring Gahlot in place. “Water management was not up to the mark. Kapil Mishra made a lot of effort. CM decided to bring in Kailash Gahlot in his place,” said Manish Sisodia.

Meanwhile, Kapil Mishra took to twitter and claimed that he has shared some explosive details with Arvind Kejriwal. “Massive expose on tanker scam tomorrow…today shared explosive details with Arvind Kejriwal.Tomorrow with public,” he tweeted.

According to reports, Kapil Mishra, MLA from the Karawal Nagar constituency was said to be close to senior leader Kumar Vishwas.

In response to the recent development, Kapil Mishra said that he has not received any official communication yet. “No official communication yet, but I had told CM that I can’t tolerate delay in tanker scam report,” said Kapil Mishra to ANI.

Apart from Kailash Gahlot, Rajendra Pal Gautam has also been inducted in the cabinet. Kailash Ghalot is the MLA from Najafgarh and Rajendra Gautam from Seemapuri.
