Delhi University Admission: Tuesday, Delhi University released the first merit-based admissions list for undergraduate courses. The list contains the names of 85,853 successful candidates for CUET UG 2023. The seats have been assigned based on the position on the merit list, and the acceptance deadline is August 4. In all programs and colleges, allocations have been completed, with the exception of those programs whose eligibility requirements include performance/practical examinations.
The colleges will compare the applicants’ applications to the colleges to which they have been assigned. The deadline for the colleges to process the applications is 5 August at 4:59 p.m.
“Candidates who are offered admission in the first round must complete all admission requirements by the deadline.” “Only applicants who have completed the admissions process, including payment of fees, will be able to select ‘Upgrade’ to participate in the second round,” the university stated.
The University of Denver stated in a press release that 202,416 qualified applicants were considered for allocation in the first round based on their program and institution preferences.
On the list, 7,042 students were allotted a seat based on their first preference, while approximately 22,000 candidates were allotted a seat based on their first five preferences.
On August 10, the second list will be released.
The first list will be posted on the university’s admissions website, admission.uod.ac.in. To view their names on the list, candidates must opt in with their registered credentials to their dashboards.
Candidates have until 6:59 p.m. on August 6, 2023 to pay against the initial merit list.
If a candidate fails to pay the admission fee, the allocated seat will be deemed canceled. The allocated seat will be forfeited, and the candidate will no longer be considered for future allocations throughout the year.
