A Delhi woman had filed a complaint at Jai Narayan Vyas Colony police station after she was abducted and raped by 23 men in broad daylight in Bikaner. A case of rape has been filed against two named and 21 unidentified suspects. However, no arrests have been made yet.

The terrible incident happened on 25 September when the woman had gone to Ridmalsar Purohitan in Bikaner to see her plot. Two men allegedly dragged her into the car when she was waiting for transport near Khatu Shyam Mandir on the Jaipur Road.

The 28-year-old, explaining her ordeal said that the accused drove her near some mines and repeatedly raped her. She has also told that the two accused called up six others who also assaulted her. Then she was then taken to a government power substation in Palana village where few more men raped her. The woman has mentioned the registration number of the vehicle.

Reportedly, police recovered condoms from the spots identified by the woman. The suspects have been identified as Raju and Subhash. The medical examination of the woman has been done.

Notably, Rajasthan reported the third-highest number of rape cases in India.
