Originally, the movie was supposed to hit Indian theatres on September 12, but that date has now been pushed up. Cinepolis India confirmed that the film will now release in early August instead. They haven’t said the exact date yet and ticket bookings are still not live, but the change in release is already making fans excited.
This move came because of piracy issues. The movie got leaked online in India before its official release. Some websites even uploaded high-quality versions, and many people ended up watching it illegally. This caused concern among theatre owners and the film distributors, who were worried that a delay would hurt ticket sales.
Because of that, the team decided to shift the release earlier, to avoid more damage. By releasing the movie sooner, India now matches the timing of some other countries like Pakistan, Malaysia, and Singapore, where the movie is coming in mid-August. More updates about ticket sales and showtimes are expected soon.
