Dhurandhar 2 Trends At No. 1 On Netflix Pakistan
According to reports, Dhurandhar: The Revenge premiered internationally on Netflix on May 14 and immediately climbed to the top spot on Netflix Pakistan’s trending chart. While there is no official confirmation from Netflix regarding any server outage, the viral clip has sparked massive online discussion across India and Pakistan alike.
The film’s popularity in Pakistan has become a major talking point because Indian films continue to face restrictions in Pakistani theatres. Pakistanis wait hi kar rahe the ki kab raat ke 12 baje Netflix film daalein aur sab ek saath milke click karein. Iss tarah Dhurandhar ka shauk dekha gaya hai idhar [Dhurandhar released in Pakistan today itself, and the server crashed. About the Film
Industry trackers and entertainment portals have also reported that the spy thriller has emerged as one of the highest-grossing Indian films of recent years. The film has grossed nearly ₹1,792 crore globally so far, while several outlets described it as one of the biggest Indian blockbusters of 2026.
The controversy surrounding the film’s anti-Pakistan narrative appears to have only amplified curiosity among viewers across the border. Social media platforms are now flooded with memes, clips, reactions and screenshots allegedly showing the movie trending at number one in Pakistan despite the ban.
Interestingly, reports also suggest that the “Raw & Undekha” uncut version of the film is set for wider international streaming releases, say in the US and Canada, and that seems to add a bit more momentum to the film’s global OTT success.
While Netflix hasnt officially commented on the viral “server crash” claims, the chatter around Dhurandhar: The Revenge keeps getting louder online, and it shows that the film’s popularity goes well beyond just box office numbers.
