According to Pinkvilla Blah received a call about a story that was to be published in a newspaper about him. The alleged victim had given out details about what Anirban had done to her. In response, Anirban asked the newspaper to not put out the story as his reputation will be ruined. When they refused to budge, Anirban threatened that he would commit suicide.
He sent them a suicide note as well with the exact location of where he was going to commit the act. In response, the newspaper informed the cops to stop him and held the story by a day.
