With much being said about the India-Pak situation, Bollywood has been divided over its support for Pakistani actors and technicians. On one hand, Salman Khan believes in supporting the talent and on the other, singer Abhijeet is questioning everyone who is not in support of the ban.
Om Puri appeared on a News Channel debate to speak about the ban on Pakistani artists on the show. Referring to Indian soldiers and their sacrifices, the veteran actor said, “We haven’t forced them to join the army.”
Puri even walked out of the show, but not before saying, “Prepare 15-20 people as suicide bomber and send them to Pakistan to conduct blasts there.”
Soon, #OmPuri started trending on Twitter and many people slammed the actor.
