The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam president MK Stalin on Thursday claimed that his party will win more than 200 seats in next assembly polls and would stay in power for 25 years.
After releasing a book on late DMK minister M Kannappan in Coimbatore on Thursday, MK Stalin in his address to the partymen said that “once it wins the next assembly elections, no one can shake the DMK rule for the next 25 years.”
As quoted in the reports, Stalin said he had no regrets for failing to dislodge the AIADMK government in the recent bypolls. “We couldn’t have delivered to our full potential even if we had formed a government after the bypolls,” he told the DMK men.
At the same time, he called upon the cadres to be prepared ‘to answer the call of duty anytime’.
