Political strategist and founder of Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) Prashant Kishor is joining the Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal United (JDU) in Bihar. Kishor will join the party at the state executive today on Sunday. He has been credited with delivering election victories for Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014 Lok Sabha elections and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in Bihar Assembly Elections in 2015. Recently Kishor had said that he would not campaign for anyone in 2019 elections.

“Let us wait for the official announcement. He has expressed his willingness and we will welcome him in the party,” said JD(U) leader KC Tyagi.

Before working as election strategist, Kishor has worked as public health expert and worked for programmes run by the United Nations. He came to lime-light after 2014 general election results due to his role in taking Bharatiya Janata Party to victory by his strategies in the election campaign of PM Narendra Modi.

Taking a U-turn just the year after in 2015, Kishor joined hands with Nitish Kumar and brought all opposition including JD(U), RJD, Congress together on one platform in 2015 Bihar Assembly Elections.
