A photo is being widely shared on social media platforms, where PM Modi is seen bowing down to a woman and she is claimed to be the wife of Indian industrialist Gautam Adani.
The image is being shared for the past several months.“This female in this photo is the wife of industrialist Adani, identify the man who is bowing down,” the post reads. Another user shared this post with a Hindi caption which roughly translates to – “Brothers, the woman in this photo is the wife of industrialist Adani and the man who has bowed down (sold out) is PM of our country. Why doesn’t he fall at her feet.”

However, when a reverse-searched of the image was done on Google, it was found to be of September 25, 2014. The date when PM Modi visited the southern city of Tumkur to inaugurate a project.
A tweet was also found which captioned the same image: “This is how PM @narendramodi greeted Tumkur Mayor Geeta Rudresh when she came to welcome him.” The same photo was also posted on Facebook with a similar description.
