As Sarkar, the Diwali blockbuster, gone through 4 cuts, angered Vijay fans vandalized government freebies in protest and shared videos of those acts on social media.

The CBFC(Central Board of Film Certification) listed 4 modifications that must be made out in the originalmovie. They were, (a) deletion of visuals of throwing a mixie and grinder into fire; (b) muting the name ‘Komala’ from the full name of the character ‘Komalavalli’ and removing the same from subtitles; and (c) muting the dialogue ‘Podhuppaniththuraia’ (PWD) and ’56 Varusham’ (56 years) and the removal of those words from subtitles.

The fans shared videos of them burning and throwing mixers, laptops and even TVs.

These were those articles that were provided by the government over a period of time, under various schemes.

Some fans also released the deleted scenes on the social media.
