Farhan Akhtar was one of the celebs to protest and speak against the Citizenship Amendment Act. Protests against the act are being held across the country and celebs have been speaking against the violence against students.
Farhan was joined by Shibani Dandekar and Zoya Akhtar to participate in the protests held in Mumbai. But now as per media reports, a complaint has been filed against Farhan’s Tweet on CAA. Farhan’s Tweet was an elaborate explanation of the Amendment Bill and the National Register of Citizens.

A police official confirmed to a media portal that the complaint has been received and a ‘general entry has been made.’ He added, “A preliminary inquiry is underway. The complaint and the facts need to be verified. We need to study the allegations. The legal opinion also will be taken before registering a case.”
An FIR has been filed against 600 people including Siddharth and singer TM Krishna who were a part of the protest.
