Fatima Sana Shaikh made it big with Dangal and was appreciated for her role in Aamir Khan’s film. Post Dangal, Fatima started prepping for yet another Aamir film, Thugs of Hindustan. Her look created a stir and fans were eager to see the film on the big screen. Well, no one would have imagined that the audience wouldn’t like the film and it will turn out to be a major dud at the box office. The film tanked completely and it was a heavy budget film. For Fatima, it was her second big project and its debacle affected her morale.
Fatima is of a view that everyone has their own opinion and she can’t reject the audience’s reaction. It was hard for her, but she did move on. In an interview with DNA, she said, “For the first few days, I couldn’t understand what was happening… all the trolling, etc. I was very disturbed and heartbroken, but eventually, I learnt to accept it. When you get into something like this, everyone puts in so much effort.”
Fatima added that she still takes it positively as she got to share screen space with legends like Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir.
Fatima is not losing hope and one failure is not stopping her to work harder.
What’s next for the diva? On this, she said she doing a movie with Anurag Basu, where she is paired opposite Rajkummar Rao. They will start shooting in January and she is really excited about it. She added that it’s not a sequel to Life In A Metro, but has a similar layout.
