Financial Times World MBA Ranking 2019 update: Four Indian B-Schools have found place among the top 50 management schools, according to the Financial Times World MBA Ranking 2019.
While the fresh Financial Times (FT) Global MBA Rankings 2019 released on Monday, the ISB Hyderabad was ranked 24 and the three other IIMs featured in the top 50 best MBA colleges.
FT Global MBA Rankings 2019, based on surveys of the business schools and alumni, features the world’s best 100 full-time global B-schools. 150 schools participated in the 2019 edition of the ranking.
“Several factors have contributed to this improvement in the rankings. With a 187% salary increase of its alumni, ISB is ranked at 3 worldwide on that parameter. At 34% women students, ISB has the largest intake of women students amongst Indian business schools,” ISB said in a statement.
“It is very heartening to see three other prominent business schools from India feature in the Top 100. This goes a long way in helping strengthen the Study in India initiative and help promote India as a destination for high quality management education,” said ISB Dean Rajendra Srivastava.

IIM Bangalore secured 33rd position.
IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta were ranked 47 and 49 respectively.
IIM Bangalore’s one-year full-time Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP programme) has moved up two places in the list.
