Former director of AJKMCRC, Jamia Millia Islamia, and formerly with All India Radio, BBC & NDTV, Professor Obaid Siddiqui passed away on Thursday morning, he was admitted in a Delhi hospital.
Senior journalist, Qurban Ali said, “With a heavy heart I regret to inform you that my dear friend has passed away. He was 63. His burial will be tomorrow at 2 pm in the afternoon (after Friday prayer) at Jamia Qabristan, Jamia.”
According to the media reports, a senior journalist close to the family confirmed his death.
