Former ICC president Ehsan Mani appointed chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday appointed Ehsan Mani as the new chairman Pakistan Cricket Board, following the resignation of Najam Sethi from the post.

“I have appointed Ehsan Mani as Chairman PCB. He brings vast and valuable experience to the job. He represented PCB in the ICC; was Treasurer ICC for 3 yrs and then headed the ICC for another 3 yrs,” the prime minister announced in a message on Twitter.

The prime minster, who is also patron of the PCB, has taken this decision after Najam Sethi resigned on Monday as chairman of the board.

Sethi announced his resignation on Monday, almost four years after he first took over the cricket board.
