Cricketer Virat Kohli and wrestler Sakshi Malik along with Singer Kailash Kher may receive the Padma Shri award this year, as per a report in HT.
Five sportspersons including captain Virat Kohli, Olympian Sakshi Malik, gymnast Dipa Karmakar, discus thrower Vikas Gowda and national hockey team captain PR Sreejesh along with few singers, athlete, artist and others will be given this honor on the evening of Republic Day.
Apart from them Hindi writer Narendra Kohli and journalist HR Shah will also be accorded the fourth highest civilian honour, said sources.
