GATE 2020 result announced @ gate.iitd.ac.in; Check direct link

Candidates who had appeared for the examinations can check their scores by logging the official website of GATE, appsgate.iitd.ac.in.

GATE 2020 Results: IIT Delhi has declared the GATE results on Friday, March 13, 2020 on the official GATE website at 2:30 PM. Candidates who had appeared for the examinations can check their scores by logging the official website of GATE, gate.iitd.ac.in.

IIT Delhi conducted the GATE 2020 exam on February 1, 2, 8 and 9, 2020, at various centres in India and abroad. As per the information released on the official website, “GATE – 2020 result declared. Will be available shortly.”

The GATE Result 2020 has been announced three days before time as the official exam schedule had set the GATE results date for March 16.

The result notification reads “IIT Delhi is the organizing institute for GATE 2020 examination. Out of 858890 registered candidates in 25 papers, 685088 candidates (79.76%) appeared in the examination and around 18.8% candidates qualified in GATE 2020. The result of GATE 2020 is declared today (March 13, 2020) at 2:30 pm and is available on the GATE website http://appsgate.iitd.ac.in.”

A total of 858890 candidates applied for the GATE 2020 exam, out of which 685088 candidates (79.76 per cent) appeared in the examination. Therefore, 18.8 per cent of the candidates have qualified in GATE 2020.

How to check GATE 2020 result:

  • Step 1: Open the official website of GATE, gate.iitd.ac.in
  • Step 2: Enter the details to create your login details for the website
  • Step 3: Enter enrollment ID or email address and password
  • Step 4: Download the same and take a printout for further use
