Gautam Gambhir, senior Indian batsman and former Indian opener, who is playing his last match ahead of his retirement, which he had announced recently through an emotional video uploaded on his social account.

The two time ICC World Cup winner for the country is all set to take retirement from his professional cricket career and respectfully received a guard of honour by Andhra Ranji team. Gauti was a magnificent player and he always showed pure class when he bats.

Before batting on the pitch as a professional player for the last time, Andhra Ranji team succeeded to put 390 runs on board.

Ricky Bhui (187) who almost scored half of the team’s score, played very fine innings. In return, Gambhir who walked into the crease to open Delhi’s batting with partner Hiten Dalal played magnificent innings as they succeeded to put 108 runs partnership on the board before Dalal’s dismissal by Manish Golamaru.

Gambhir stuck to the crease and put up a partnership of 82 runs with Dhruv Shorey and remain unbeaten throughout the day by scoring 190 runs in total for a loss of one wicket for their team.
