Goa Board HSSC Exam 2019 for March 18 postponed

Goa Board HSSC Exam 2019 exam paper update: Goa Board HSSC Exam 2019 exam paper [Banking, Computer Science, Logic, Co-operation (CWSN) and Cooperation subjects] for Class 12 students scheduled for 18th March 2019 has been cancelled. The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education’s (GBSHSE) decision comes following the death of f Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar.

However, all the state government offices including schools and colleges will remain closed in the state.

The board has issued a notification informing students about the delay in the 18th March 2019 paper. The Goa Board HSSC Exam 2019 exam paper [Banking, Computer Science, Logic, Co-operation (CWSN) and Cooperation subjects] is scheduled to be conducted on March 27, 2019.

“As a mark of respect for the departed soul of Manohar Parrikar, CM of Goa, all the state government offices, local-autonomous bodies, public sector undertakings, all educational institutions including aided institutions shall remain closed on March 18,” said the Goa government in a statement.

The funeral procession will be taken from Kala Academy, Panjim, at four in the evening and last rites will be performed at five in the evening at Miramar.

Manohar Parrikar, four-time Goa chief minister and former defence minister, passed away on Sunday evening after a prolonged battle with pancreatic cancer. He died at his private residencenear Panaji on Sunday. He was 63.

The Centre announced a national mourning on Monday, declaring that the National Flag will fly at half-mast across the country.
