Gold and Silver Rates Today, July 22: Gold and silver pricing stayed steady on Wednesday, July 22 but investors were still watching global geopolitical tensions, and the uncertainty of what US Federal Reserve will do with its monetary policy. In India, bullion traders kept to a close routine on MCX futures while international gold edged higher close to a two week mark showing safe haven demand was still there.

Over in global markets, bullion prices firmed up during the Asian session, spot gold was seen around $4,113.73 per ounce and US gold futures were up near $4,119.10 per ounce. Spot gold rose 0.9% to $4,113.73 per ounce, as of 0123 GMT, having climbed to its highest since July 10. U.S. gold futures for August delivery jumped 1.1% to $4,119.1. Elsewhere, spot silver gained 1.8% to $59.82 per ounce, platinum added 1.6% at $1,655.61 and palladium rose 1.6% to $1,302.25.
