Guhla is one of the 90 constituencies to go for polls for Haryana Legislative Assembly on October 21. It is situated in the Kaithal district and is a part of the Kurukshetra parliamentary constituency. BJP’s Kulwant Ram Bazigar is the current MLA of Guhla.

In the 2014 Haryana Vidhan Sabha (Haryana Legislative Assembly) Elections, Bharatiya Janata Party’s Kulwant Ram Bazigar defeated Congress candidate Dillu Ram by a close margin of just over 2 thousand votes.

Out of the 90 Assembly constituencies in Haryana, 17 are reserved for Scheduled Castes as per the Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies Order, 2008.
