What Vishal Chaturvedi Shared?
The OTT path for Hanuman Ansh is not simple. The film was turned down by an OTT platform before the theatrical run.
Chaturvedi talked about it and said the experience was hard. Still, he felt it was part of a filmmaker’s path. The director had said, “Mujhe laga jis tarah unhone reject kiya, jis bhaasha ka prayog kiya, woh thodi derogatory thi (The way they rejected, the language they used to reject me was derogatory).”
“The way they said it, I felt that the narrative in their mind, the way they rejected it, there is a hole in their mind through the narrative. Now it is necessary to bust that narrative. We are filmmakers, we have been rejected a thousand times. You narrate a story and if you don’t understand it, you say that it is good, but we will do it later,” he further added.
Things have changed since then. The film started with a small buzz. Later, it picked up pace through audience talk. Now it is being seen as a major sleeper hit.

The film released in theatres on August 7, 2026, and tells the spiritual journey of Neem Karoli Baba, also known as Maharaj Ji. Shobhinaw Satyaa plays the lead role.
