On Wednesday, the Board School Education Haryana (BSEH) has registered 192 cases of cheating in board exams. It also canceled geography exam for Class XII students in Ladan of Jhajjar district due to increasing rate of students cheating to pass the exam.

Also, it has canceled Class XII geography exam at a center in Ladan of Jhajjar district due to cheating. This also led to three teachers losing their jobs. Of these, one supervisor was relieved after a check was conducted by the flying squad led by BSEH chairman Dr. Jagbir Singh.

The literacy rate of Haryana is 67.91 percent, though, higher than the National average which is 64.80 doesn’t fail to point out the dipping quality of education and the escalating need for it to develop.

A spokesperson for the Board said flying squads visited all districts and 26 cases of cheating were reported in Bhiwani, Faridabad, Fatehabad, Jind, Mahendragarh, Sonepat, Yamunanagar and Nuh districts. Further, 15 cases of cheating were detected in Jhajjar, Rohtak, and Sirsa. Rapid Action Force of the board found 35 cases of cheating. A case of impersonation was also registered in Bhiwani.
