Haryana: 22-year-old girl gang-raped in Hospital’s ICU, two employees charged  

Panipat’s DSP Satish Vats has told that it can be clearly seen in the CCTV that the accused was with the girl for an hour after putting the curtains. Then the other accused went in and he stayed inside for an hour. In this case, the police have arrested one accused and the search for the other is continuing.

A gang-rape case has been reported of a 22-year-old girl from Panipat in Haryana. The young woman is said to be mentally underdeveloped and was admitted to a private hospital in model town due to a falling BP pulse rate. It is alleged that two workers carried out the gang rape with the girl admitted to the ICU of the hospital. Police have registered a gang rape case on the complaint of the victim’s father.

On January 25, the woman was complaining of panic and BP pulse rate down. Because of that, her family admitted her to a nearby private hospital. The girl’s family told the police that on the night of January 26, the hospital staff did not go home even it being a holiday, and stopped in the ICU. Late in the night, he put a curtain around the girl’s bed and stayed with an accused girl for an hour. The other accused then went inside and stayed inside for an hour.

The girl reported this incident in the morning 

When the girl’s kin visited her in the morning, she reported the incident. The hospital was in shock, hearing this. As soon as the case was reported, the police rushed to the spot and started the investigation.

In this case, hospital doctor Jasbir Malik says the incident should be thoroughly investigated. The hospital administration is ready to help the police in every way, CCTV footage has also been given to the police.
