Haryana: Classes 1 to 8 students to be promoted without exams, says CM Manohar Lal Khattar

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said students from classes 1 to 8 will be promoted to the next academic year without taking up annual exams.

Haryana school students of classes 1 to 8 will be promoted without examinations amid coronavirus lockdown. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said students from classes 1 to 8 will be promoted to the next academic year without taking up annual exams as the schools are shut due to the nationwide lockdown in the wake of COVID-19 outbreak.

 

Haryana Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2020: The CM Khattar said the science subject exam for Class 10 of the State Board has not been held as the lockdown had been declared by then and the students’ results will be out on the basis of other subjects they appeared in, as per the official statement.

Khattar also urged the people of the state to practice social distancing and asked them to celebrate festivals at home as there are few festivals next week including Baisakhi.
