A Haryana man tried to escape from the isolation ward as he was in the ward on suspicion of being infected with the coronavirus. However, soon after this was discovered, the Kerala police found him again and retrieved him back from the hotel to the hospital.

The 56-year-old man had the travel history from Germany was admitted to the isolation ward of Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital, Kerala. The Police reportedly said that the man came from Germany and was admitted to the hospital at 12.40 pm on Saturday. After some time he disappeared from there. A campaign to search for him began and he was later found in a hotel in the city.

The Health Ministry said on Saturday that the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in the country has increased to 84. A senior ministry official said that the number of corona virus-positive cases in India has increased to 84. Seven individuals found infected with the Coronavirus have been discharged after treatment. Five of them were from Uttar Pradesh and one each from Rajasthan and Delhi.

Officials said that more than 4000 people who came in contact with these 84 people have been kept under surveillance. The official said that the Great Air flight carrying Indian passengers from Iran will reach Mumbai on Saturday midnight. A special flight of AI is being sent to Milan, Italy to bring back Indian students from Italy.
