Sonam Kapoor Ahuja might not be gracing the big screen often but makes it a point to make headlines for all reasons good or bad. The actress who was last seen in ‘The Zoya Factor’ is much active on social media and from time to time share her beautiful pictures.
Sonam also speaks about her point of views be it political or non-political in a bold way. Recently the actress has been quite miffed with the makers of Mr India 2.
Speaking about it on Twitter, she wrote, “A lot of people have been asking me about the MR. India remake. Honestly, my father didn’t even know the film was being remade, we found out about it through social media when @aliabbaszafar tweeted. It’s quite disrespectful and underhanded if it is true since no one bothered to”
In another tweet, she added, “consult my father or Shekhar uncle, two people who played a major role in making the film what it was and is. It’s sad because that was a film made with heart and hard work and is very sentimental to my father, beyond commerce and announcements, it’s a part of his legacy.”

Sharing the story, a media outlet referred Sonam’s take on Mr India 2 as a ‘Rant’ It doesn’t go well with Sonam and she took to Twitter to call out the media outlet and the usage of the word. Not only this, but the actress also gave an advice to the media outlet to avoid further errors.
Sonam wrote in a tweet, “It’s so sexist to call a woman’s well-worded statement a rant. Get a new copywriter.”
