If the news of India hosting Men’s Hockey World Cup 2018 wasn’t enough, the fans now have another reason to look forward to the quadrennial tournament. A food festival is set to be organized to serve some of the top dishes from across the globe.

The International Food Festival will be held alongside the Hockey World Cup and as a part of the Bhubaneshwar City Festival.

Various restaurants and hotel management institutes have partnered for the event. 16 countries are participating in the World Cup. Each partner will prepare four items from the participating nations, two street food from Odisha and four from Indian states.

The venue of the event is provided with multiple selfie points where one can get captured with Taj Mahal or the Eiffel Tower. The food festival will take place at Unit III of the IDCO Exhibition Ground between December 1 and December 16.

This is the 14th edition of the Hockey World Cup. Pakistan have been the most successful team in the tournament with four titles. While Australia have won the last two instalments of the World Cup.
