Comedian Bharti Singh was seen on television hours after the Narcotics Control Bureau arrested her and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa post-seizure of ganja (cannabis) from their house in Mumbai.
She was seen making fun of Indian Idol judge Neha Kakkar’s height on the show. Indian Idol 2020 judges Himesh Reshammiya and Vishal Dadlani, along with host Aditya Narayan appeared as guests during the episode that aired on Saturday night.
Welcoming the judges and the host of Indian Idol, Bharti questioned where Neha Kakkar was, and mocked her height as she pretended to look for Neha Kakkar inside a banana. “You have come from Indian Idol? Where’s that girl? Neha (Kakkar)!” she said. Aditya Narayan informed Bharti of Neha’s wedding, and said, “Her cheeks are being caressed by her husband. She has just got married,” to which Bharti replied, “No wonder I saw a video where the room was decorated with flowers.” Bharti also then jokingly accused Aditya Narayan of trying to snatch away her anchoring job from her and her hubby Haarsh Limbachiyaa.
