After the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act was enforced again in Odisha on Sunday, December 1, the Commissionerate Police officials fined traffic rule violators at different places across Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.

During such check in Cuttack, cops caught a woman motorist driving her two-wheeler without wearing helmet.

After the police fined the woman under the MV Act, the latter presented surprising arguments.

“I will not wear helmet and there is not anything new today. I am driving without helmet at my own risk and police have nothing to do it. If I will die, it is a loss to my family members and police have nothing to do,” the woman said, as quoted in a Sambad English report.

Later, the woman went to the traffic police station and paid the fine.
