In joint parliament session, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday announced to release Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman tomorrow.
“In our desire of peace, I announce that tomorrow, and as a first step to open negotiations, Pakistan will be releasing the Indian Air Force officer in our custody,” said Pakistan PM Imran Khan.
The Pakistan PM called on India not to take this forward and said both countries should be wary of miscalculations.
“I ask India not to take this forward, deescalate else we will be forced to defend ourselves. Talks of miscalculations during the war, countries with weapons like India-Pakistan, should be wary of ‘miscalculations’,” he said.
