Tomorrow, January 7, 2023, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) will administer the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) 2023. Candidates can take the CSEET 2023 January exam in remote proctored mode using their own laptop or desktop computer from the comfort of their own homes or other suitable location. In addition to the ICSI admit card, candidates must bring a valid form of identification.

The duration of ICSI CSEET 2023 will be two hours. The number of questions on the CSEET exam in 2023 will be 140, and it will consist of four separate papers. Before taking the ICSI CSEET exam, candidates must download, instal, and verify the Safe Exam Browser, SEBLite, on their desktop or laptop.

CSEET January 2023 examination guidelines

Downloading the secure exam browser SEBLite is required for participation in the CSEET 2023 January session remote proctored mode.

Before taking the exam, candidates must possess a valid CSEET 2023 admit card and a valid photo identification card, such as a passport, driver’s licence, PAN card, Aadhaar card, or voter ID.

Candidates must log in to the portal thirty minutes prior to the exam’s start time. 15 minutes after the start of the examination, no applicant will be permitted to take the exam, and no candidate will be permitted to complete the exam until 90 minutes have passed since the beginning of the test.

Candidates must ensure that they do not have any books, study materials, handwritten or printed notes, mobile phones, pagers, digital diaries, scientific or programmable calculators, bluetooth, laptops, palmtops, smart watches, fitness bands, or other electronic devices or gadgets with them during the examination.

Once the exam begins, there will be no breaks and no one will be permitted to leave until the submission is made.

To pass the CSEET 2023 exam, candidates must earn at least 40% on each section. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.

Technical prerequisites for candidates to the CSEET 2023

Candidates wishing to take the remote proctored CSEET exam in 2023 must satisfy the following technical requirements.

Google Chrome version 8.0 or later is required

Video/audio: A webcam and mic of high quality are required.

Windows 10 or 11 (Pro, Enterprise, and Education editions) or Windows 8/8.1 (32-bit and 64-bit) or Windows 7 as the operating system (32-bit and 64-bit).

RAM and processor requirements: 4 GB+ RAM, i3 5th generation 2.2 GHz or higher/equivalent

Recommended internet speed per user: Dedicated internet and internet bandwidth of at least 2 mbps (4G/ Wi-Fi) or greater, plus upload speed.

Previously, ICSI administered two CSEET 2023 practise exams to help candidates comprehend the remote proctored mode, exam structure, and difficulty level. The result of CSEET 2023 will be released approximately ten days after the exam.
