IMD Weather Forecast: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning regarding the likelihood of flash floods occurring in a restricted number of watersheds and residential areas in the Karimganj and Cachar districts of Assam, as well as the east and west Khasi hills, Jaintia hills, and South Garo hills of Meghalaya. Additionally, it predicted that there would be isolated instances of heavy rainfall over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal.
