For their visit to the Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmadabad, the Trudeau family donned colour-coordinated desi attire. Ditching his crisp suits, the Canadian prime minister opted for a bright red kurta and ivory churidaar.

His wife Sophie Gregoire Trudeau chose a sunny yellow kurta-sharara ensemble. Even the children, Hadrien, Xavier and Ella-Grace also kitted out in traditional Indian clothes.

His wife looked stunning in a beautiful ivory and silver saree and elaborate jewellery. His elder son Xavier chose to go with a royal blue kurta with a gold churidar, while daughter Ella-Grace looked lovely in a cheery yellow dress with a magenta tulle hem.

Giving sartorial statement equal importance as diplomatic statement, Trudeau wore an off-white bandhgala kurta for his visit to the Golden Temple in Amritsar. Sophie went with a beautiful sky blue kurta paired with white palazzo pants.

When the family went for a picturesque moment in front of the Taj Mahal, the Canadian Prime Minister looked extremely handsome in a blue plaid coat. He teamed it with an ice blue shirt and tan pants.

One of the best dressed political leaders in the world, Trudeau and his family have won many hearts in India for their sartorial choices.

Time and again, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has expressed his admiration for the Indian culture and his week-long visit to India along with his family was no different.
