Popular smartphone manufacturer Infinix has been producing laptops for over a year. The company’s first laptop series was the inexpensive InBook X1, followed by the X2 series. Recently, the company introduced its Zero Book Ultra, the least expensive laptop with an Intel Core i9 processor. Now, the company is preparing to launch the Infinix InBook Y1 Plus, an affordable new laptop in India.
A few days ago, Flipkart teased the Infinix InBook Y1 Plus laptop; the e-commerce site has now confirmed the device’s release date. The Infinix InBook Y1 Plus laptop will be released in India tomorrow, on February 20. The forthcoming laptop from the brand has already been listed on Flipkart prior to its release. Infinix InBook Y1 Plus: Specifications and Features
The Infinix InBook Y1 Plus laptop has already been listed on Flipkart, as seen in the image above. Based on the listing on Flipkart, here are the features of the new Infinix laptop.
The Infinix InBook Y1 Plus will feature a 15.6-inch Full HD display with 250 nits peak brightness, 86% sRGB colour space, and narrow bezels. Inside the machine is a 10th-generation Intel Core i3 processor. This chipset is supported by 8GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of NVMe PCle 3.0 SSD storage, which is expandable to 2TB.
The battery inside the laptop is rated to last up to 10 hours on a single charge. It comes with a 45W Type-C charger that can charge a laptop to 75% capacity in one hour. Regarding construction, the machine has an aluminium alloy metal body and weighs 1.76 kilogrammes. There will be three colour options for the laptop: grey, blue, and silver.
There are two USB 3.0 ports, one HDMI port, and one Type-C port. The laptop also includes Windows 11, a backlit keyboard, a 2MP webcam with dual LED lights, a dual microphone, and an AI noise reduction feature.
The 256GB configuration of the InBook Y1 Plus is priced at Rs 44,490, while the 512GB configuration is priced at Rs 49,990. However, these prices may be placeholders, as the company has already confirmed that the device will cost less than Rs. 30,000.
