Daughter of Mukesh and Nita Ambani, Isha Ambani’s wedding was a grand affair and was not less than a fairytale. Her wedding with Anand Piramal made everyone sit up and notice. While talking about her wedding for the first time, she said it was a very emotional affair for her family to see her get married.
Isha revealed about everything that happened at her wedding in an interview with a magazine. She says that during the wedding, her mom, Nita Ambani, was like the CEO and she was like the chairperson. “She (Nita Ambani) and dad did all the hard work. Thankfully, we ended up liking the same things, so that made it a breeze. I didn’t go to a single wedding meeting. I was never someone who dreamt of how my wedding would be, yet it was wonderful in more ways than I can imagine,” she revealed.
She also revealed the highlight of her wedding where everyone around her would start crying, she goes on by saying “I was emotional too but everyone around me would cry all the time. I only cried at my bidaai because I felt some peer pressure as everyone else was crying, especially my parents,” says Isha.
Isha and Anand’s wedding took place on December 12 at the Ambani’s residence ‘Antilia’. Before the wedding, pre-wedding functions took place including mehndi and sangeet at Udaipur which was graced by Bollywood celebrities like Aishwarya Rai, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, etc.
International performance by American singer Beyonce was also witnessed at one of her wedding function.
