On Varun Dhawan’s birthday, a big confirmation for all his fans has been made and that will surely make them curious. Finally, all the speculations and rumors surrounding the remake of Coolie No. 1 have been officially confirmed.
Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan have been roped and will step in the shoes of Govinda and Karishma Kapoor for the remake of Coolie No 1.
The film will be helmed by Varun’s father and ace director David Dhawan. He had earlier directed Varun Dhawan in Main Tera Hero and Judwaa 2. The remake of Coolie No.1 will be co-produced by Vashu Bhagnani.

On the work front Varun Dhawan, who was recently seen in film Kalank, is currently filming Remo D’Souza’s dance film Street Dancer and will be seen in a cameo in Salman Khan’s Bharat. On the other hand, Sara Ali Khan is busy with Love Aaj Kal 2 with director Imtiaz Ali and co-star Kartik Aaryan.
The film will go on floors in August this year.
