Homi Adajania directed Cocktail 2 making it a spiritual sequel to the 2012 hit Cocktail. The film is produced by Maddock Films and Luv Films and music composed by the duo Sachin–Jigar.
Kriti described her role in Cocktail 2 as her most attractive performance during her interview with Bollywood Hungama. She said that director Homi brought out a “cool side” in her personality that she was previously unaware of.
