Grace Marks
JAC has also followed its grace marks policy this year. This rule is made to help students who just miss the passing marks by a small number. If any student is short by up to 5 percent in only one subject, they can get grace marks and still pass. Also, if someone has failed in two subjects but is falling short by just up to 3 percent in each, then they might get grace marks for both subjects.
There is another part of this rule that helps students move to a better division. So if a student hasn’t used grace marks earlier and needs 5 or fewer marks to get into First or Second Division, they may also be awarded grace marks. This small support system can make a big difference for many students who are on the edge.
