At the International Court of Justice, Netherlands, where India is representing Kulbhushan Jadhav’s case, it fears that Pakistan may hang the naval officer before the court comes out with its order.
India has denied the allegations against him and says that he was kidnapped from Iran and then framed. Indian lawyer Harish Salve is presenting Jadhav’s case against Pakistan at the ICJ. In attempts to prove him innocent, Salve said, “Allegation of Pakistan against Kulbhushan Jadhav lack credibility”.  He also said that the situation is grave and urgent, so the court was approached at such short notice.
Salve also said human rights, treated as basic rights, have been thrown to the winds by Pakistan.
India demands immediate suspension of his death sentence, saying that he had been kidnapped from Iran.
Kulbhushan Sudhir Jadhav is an Indian national and a naval officer, who was arrested in Balochistan, Pakistan, over charges of terrorism and spying for India’s intelligence agency, the Research and Analysis Wing.
