Jana Nayagan Advance Booking Opens: Advance bookings for Jana Nayagan, the much awaited film starring Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay, have started picking up serious steam across overseas markets. In Canada, a theatre chain has introduced priority access for its VIP members even as demand keeps building up close to the film release.
While advance ticket sales are yet to begin across India, international markets including the United Kingdom, Australia and Canada have already opened bookings. In Canada, York Cinemas announced that only its VIP members would receive priority access during the initial phase of ticket sales because of the anticipated rush from fans.

The overseas rollout has generated significant excitement, particularly in the UK, where advance bookings opened to an enthusiastic response. Distributors reported that thousands of tickets were sold within the first hour, while trade trackers said UK advance sales had already crossed the ₹1 crore mark before release.
New Poster Unveiled
Adding to the promotional campaign, the makers released a fresh poster of the film on Wednesday while reaffirming the release schedule. According to the latest announcement, Jana Nayagan will release in Indian theatres on July 23, followed by its overseas release on July 24.

About the Film
Directed by H. Vinoth and produced by KVN Productions, Jana Nayagan features Vijay in the lead alongside Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Narain. Music for the film has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
The film was originally scheduled for a Pongal release but faced months of delay due to certification-related issues before receiving clearance. Since then, distributors have accelerated promotional activities and opened advance bookings across several international territories.
