In a recent interview with Hauterrfly, Jasmin Bhasin elaborated on how the entire incident affected her mental health. “They were supporters of another competitor. While adoring someone, I don’t comprehend how they can begin to despise them for giving what they have. You can only grant love if you possess it yourself. You impart hatred if you have hatred within you; this is what constitutes a person’s personality. When you meet someone, you feel happy, but when you meet someone else, you feel annoyed. Thus, individuals give what they can. How can the same person who loves someone else be so filled with loathing for me?”

But then I realised that these individuals who sent me rape threats and called me names I’d never heard before have no identity. Oh, I have commented, I don’t like you, say anonymous commenters who lack even balls or backbone. If they have the courage, they should state it openly.”
