A Janata Dal-United leader and an MLA from Matihani Bogo Singh called Kanhaiya Kumar a monkey on Sunday during an exclusive interview to a television channel. He was talking to ETV Bharat reporter about upcoming Lok Sabha elections when he addressed Kanhaiya Kumar and a senior CPI leader Rajendra Rajan as a monkey to the Left.

The remark came after the correspondent asked him about Kanhaiya Kumar contesting from Begusarai constituency. At this Bogo Singh replied, “You are talking about a monkey. He is a monkey of the Left.” Later he also referred Rajendra Rajan as a monkey.

Bogo Singh also claimed to seize JDU leader Kanhaiya Kumar’s bail if he contests elections from Begusarai constituency. Further, he held Kanhaiya guilty of organizing an event in favour of Afzal Guru. He said that the country will never forgive Kanhaiya for his misdeeds.

Kanhaiya Kumar had announced to fight 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Begusarai in Bihar. He is expected to contest as the nominee of the grand alliance that comprises the RJD, Congress, NCP, Jitan Ram Manjhi-led HAM (S), Loktantrik Janata Dal of Sharad Yadav and Leftt parties.

As reports suggest, RJD and Congress have agreed to leave Begusarai seat for Kanhaiya.
