JEE Advanced AAT 2026 Registration: The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee is closing the JEE Advanced Architecture Aptitude Test, or AAT, 2026 application window today, June 2, 2026. The official JEE Advanced site says the registration portal opened on June 1, 2026 at 10:00 IST and will shut on June 2, 2026 at 17:00 IST. Students who want to take the test need to finish the online form before the deadline.
The AAT application link is available on the official JEE Advanced website, and the exam is only for candidates who have already qualified JEE Advanced 2026. The information brochure also shows that the AAT is part of the route for admission to architecture courses in IITs.
Exam Date
The Architecture Aptitude Test will be held on June 4, 2026. It will run in one shift from 09:00 IST to 12:00 IST, and the brochure says candidates should reach the centre by 08:00 IST. The result of AAT 2026 will be announced on June 7, 2026 at 17:00 IST.
This test matters because it opens the door to BArch admission at IIT Kharagpur, IIT BHU, and IIT Roorkee. So for students who want architecture seats in these IITs, this exam is the final step after JEE Advanced qualification.
Who Can Apply For BArch Seats?
For admission to IIT architecture courses, the rules are strict. The official brochure says candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in Class 12 or equivalent.
They must also clear the AAT. On the school marks side, general category students need at least 75% aggregate marks in Class 12, while SC, ST, and PwD candidates need at least 65%. The brochure also says students may qualify through the top 20 percentile rule if they meet that condition in their board exam.
