JEE Advanced Result 2026 Declared:The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee has officially put out the JEE Advanced 2026 results. This year, Shubham Kumar who is from the IIT Delhi zone grabbed All India Rank (AIR) 1, with 330 out of 360. At the same time, Arohi Deshpande showed up as the top female candidate, with CRL 77 after scoring 280 marks.
Shubham Kumar: AIR 1 in JEE Advanced 2026
Shubham Kumar has been named the national topper for JEE Advanced 2026. Coming from Bihar and representing the IIT Delhi zone, he scored AIR 1 with 330 marks out of 360. What stands out is that this isn’t a one time moment, because he had already secured AIR 6 in JEE Main 2026.

As per the official numbers published by IIT Roorkee, the IIT Delhi zone really owned the upper ranks this time. Kabir Chhillar secured AIR 2 with 329 marks and Jatain Chahar followed at AIR 3 with 319 marks. Interestingly, all three of the top rankers are from the IIT Delhi zone.
Arohi Deshpande Female Topper
On the female side, Arohi Deshpande from the IIT Delhi zone came out on top. She recorded CRL 77 and scored 280 marks out of 360, and that made her the female topper in JEE Advanced 2026. Her result also mirrors the increasing presence of women students among the top tier engineering aspirants in the country, which is becoming more visible year by year.

JEE Advanced 2026 Result Statistics
According to the official press release:
- Total Registered Candidates: 1,87,389
- Candidates Appeared in Both Papers: 1,79,694
- Total Qualified Candidates: 56,880
- Qualified Female Candidates: 10,107
Notably, female candidates accounted for 17.77% of all qualified candidates, marking one of the strongest performances by women in the history of the examination.
