A Jharkhand cop has been suspended after he was caught red-handed trying to molest his coworker, a woman constable. The lady constable was asking the cop for sanctioning her leave.
This horrible incident occurred at Jharkhand, Ranchi’s Police Line on Wednesday, January 6.
As per India Today, the woman constable was seeking to get her leaves sanctioned for the last two days.
Then on January 6, the accused jemadar Shatrughan Singh summoned her to his room and attempted to molest her.
After the lady constable cried for help, other police officers in the police station rushed to the jemadar’s room and caught him, red-handed. Accused on the spot fall into the feet of the victim and begged for forgiveness but no avail.
Reportedly, Singh was trashed for his conduct on the spot and the matter was immediately reported to Surendra Jha, Senior Superintendent of Police, Ranchi, who later suspended him.
