Bhubaneswar: Jindal Stainless, India’s largest stainless steel manufacturer, has once again proven its commitment to workplace safety, with its Jajpur manufacturing facility receiving the prestigious British Safety Council Award for the second consecutive year.
The award was presented at the British Safety Council International Safety Awards Conference held in Mumbai. Representing the Jajpur plant, Manoj Kumar Bal, Head of Fire & Safety, accepted the honor on behalf of the company.
This recognition highlights the Jajpur unit’s exceptional zero-accident record in 2024 and its adherence to globally benchmarked safety practices.
Present at the ceremony were Jonathan Gaither, Chairman of the Safety Board, and Mike Robinson, Chief Executive of the British Safety Council, alongside other prominent figures from the industrial safety sector.
Expressing pride in the achievement, Deepak Agarwal, Unit Head of Jindal Stainless Jajpur, stated: “Winning the British Safety Council Award for the second year, especially after a zero-accident year, is not just an honor — it’s a testament to the safety-first culture we have built.
