JKPSC CCE Prelims application 2025:The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission has started online applications for the Combined Competitive Preliminary Exam 2025. Candidates can apply on the official site jkpsc.nic.in till September 24, 2025.
If anyone makes mistakes while filling the form, they can fix it between September 25 and 27, 2025. The exam will help fill 80 vacancies across different posts. To apply, a person must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized university.

General category applicants have to pay Rs 1200, while candidates from reserved categories will pay Rs 700.
Selection Process
The JKPSC KAS 2025 exam will be held in three stages:
- Preliminary Examination:Objective type (MCQs)
- Main Examination:Descriptive written papers
- Interview:Personality Test (250 marks)
Final meritwill be based on Mains (1750 marks) + Interview (250 marks) =Total 2000 marks.
Eligibility Criteria for JKPSC CCE 2025
To apply for JKPSC KAS 2025, the candidate must satisfy the following conditions:
- Domicile:Must be a domicile of Jammu & Kashmir UT.
- Education:Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university.
- Final-Year Students:May apply provisionally but must submit proof of graduation before Mains.
- Medical Graduates:MBBS degree holders awaiting internship can apply with certificate of passing final professional exam.
Prelims Exam Pattern
This stage serves as a screening test. Marks are not counted for final merit.
- Paper I:General Studies (200 Marks)
- Paper II:CSAT (Aptitude) – 200 Marks (Minimum 33% qualifying)
- Duration:2 hours per paper
- Negative Marking:1/3rd for each wrong answer
UPSC CSE Mains Result 2025 Date: Expected to be Released Between November 10-15 on upsc.gov.in

This stage includes 8 written papers – 1 qualifying and 7 for merit ranking. Optional subject includes 2 papers chosen from JKPSC’s approved list.
